These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern all bookings made directly with Gold Coast Short Stays Pty Ltd ("we", "us", "our") via our website, phone, or email. By completing a booking, you ("Guest") confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms on behalf of all persons in your party.

Gold Coast Short Stays Pty Ltd (ABN 49 689 539 713), acting as managing agent for the property owner.
Guest:
The person who completes and submits the booking, being at least 18 years of age.
Guests are jointly and severally liable for the conduct of all persons in their party during the stay.
A booking is not confirmed until:
We reserve the right to decline any booking at our absolute discretion without providing reasons.
All amounts are quoted and payable in Australian dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of GST.
We accept direct bank transfer and major credit/debit cards. Any card processing fees are borne by the Guest and will be disclosed at the time of payment.
If any payment is not received by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel the booking and retain any deposit paid, in accordance with the Cancellation Policy in clause 4.
The following cancellation terms apply to all direct bookings:
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected] . The date of cancellation is the date we receive your written notice.
We strongly recommend Guests obtain comprehensive travel insurance, including trip cancellation cover, prior to making a booking.
Requests to modify booking dates are subject to availability and must be made in writing at least 7 days before the original arrival date.
Modifications are at our absolute discretion and may be subject to a price adjustment based on the rates applicable to the new dates.
Any modification does not reset the cancellation period.
A security bond of $500.00 AUD is required for all direct bookings.
The bond will be collected via credit/debit card pre-authorisation or direct transfer no later than 5 days before arrival.
The bond will be released or refunded within 5 business days of the departure date, provided that:
We reserve the right to deduct from the bond (and, where the bond is insufficient, to invoice the Guest for the balance) the reasonable cost of:

Early check-in and late check-out may be available upon request and subject to availability.
Unauthorised late check-out will result in a charge equivalent to one night's tariff or a $150 administration fee, whichever is greater.
The Guest accepts the property in its condition at check-in.
Any pre-existing issues must be reported within 2 hours of check-in.
Our liability is limited as permitted under Australian Consumer Law.
The Guest is fully liable for all damage, loss, injury, or expense caused during the stay.
We accept no responsibility for loss or damage to personal belongings.
We are not liable for failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond our control.
We collect and handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
If any provision is invalid, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
